Radiographic (X-ray) Imaging

Home/Radiographic (X-ray) Imaging

Radiographic (X-ray) imaging is a technique that uses radiation to provide still images of the tissues, organs, bones and vessels of the human body. Radiographs may help with the diagnosis and assessment of foreign objects, structural damage, anomalies and disease.IMG_0007-2-2

In some cases, the history taking and physical examination findings can be supplemented with radiographic (X-ray) imaging to determine the most accurate diagnosis and plan of management for one’s condition. Chiropractors receive over 350 hours of education in radiology covering a full range of topics from safe protocols, radiation protection, patient positioning, radiographic interpretation and diagnosis.

Dr. Levi will determine if X-rays are required on a case-by-case basis and refer appropriate cases to the nearest radiographic imaging facility.
